Making Art Shutters for Watson Studio

Making the New Shutters for Watson Studio. Some photos, start to finish, of the shutters for the windows. Starting with 1/2" birch plywood, cutting and hinging 4 sections for each window. Priming with black paint, then masking tape to separate the sections for painting. Starting with the center sections, a very simple modern abstract painting, combining all four shutter panels of each window as one painting. The bottom sections are African designs, the top sections Japanese, to mix it up a bit and make it more interesting. Photos show how they progressed and were painted, with a couple of photos of the finished shutters in the studio and installed. For large shutters, they fold open and close quite easily.
