Wine cups
The methods and techniques that I use in making my wine cups give the design work a very 3 dimensional look and feel. There are subtle color variations and shadowing, and an intricacy in the design work, that gives the cups a feeling of life.
I have always admired the Japanese and Korean tea bowls and the philosophy, thoughts, and feelings that go into their making, their use, and the way they are appreciated. I make my wine cups with what I think is the same feeling and intent.

YOUR EYES
The cups with protrusions have a unique feel to them, and each
movement of the cup in your hand provides a very different feel
and 'grip'. They have a very comfortable, secure feel when held.
The cups with the protrusions higher up have an added joy for
people with arthritis or other limitations of hand control, as the
protrusions keep the cup from slipping in your hand.
Custom made wood boxes like the one shown are available for any cups.
